Latin International keyboard layout
according to ISO/IEC 9995-3:2026
- Fully compatible to the standard US keyboard – nothing changed (except the right Alt key), only additions.
- All personal names and texts written in all national languages using the Latin script can be entered correctly.
- Common transliteration systems are supported, such as for Arabic, Chinese (Pinyin), Hebrew, Russian, and Sanskrit.
- All characters used in “good typography” can be entered easily, like the em dash, the en dash, or the prime.
- Symbols used commonly in business texts are provided, like ¥, £, €, ©, ®, ™, or ⌀ (diameter).
- Characters of the International Phonetic Alphabet and Greek characters can be entered by special key sequences.
